This vehicle is located in St Petersburg, Florida. Im listing my very own and pride 2001 Alpine White Z3 3.0i Convertible (5-Speed 225 hp) with about 168,000 miles. So that you known, I am only selling to help with my kids school expenses so it truly hurts to let this Z3 go! This BMW is a head-turner everywhere I go and I have had the opportunity to have driven many nice cars including Maseratis, etc, but for some reason people seem to gravitate a lot to this one I think in part because the all-white and tan color trim combination - it just a fun looking ride!! Just in case the miles brings some concerns to potential buyers let me express that this 3.0i still, drives and feels like a vehicle with only 60k miles. I purchased the Z3 from the original owners. The first one past it down to a close relative of his and then to me so I was assured that most of the miles where of the "highway" kind. Nevertheless, these cars have the reputation to easily go over 300K miles. My son has a 1997 328Ci with over 200k, my daughter drives a 2007 328i with over 168k miles and my dear wife drives a 2005 BMW X3 so you can say that we are a true BMW family household of believers! Gave this BMW a full tune-up including a professional $3k paint job including refinishing the wheels. This car was serviced by our local BMW local mechanic experts so this vehicle is in VERY good running condition. Replaced front shocks; brake pads & rotors; bushings; all wheel bearings (these parts were special ordered from Germany), new front and rear emblems and sides; oil change; Antenna mount grommet; wipers and a new battery.This car was also previously very well maintained that still delivers exceptional performance for this is one of the reasons why I bought it. For those that are not familiar with the 3.0 models, theres a significance difference between the Z3 2.5 version and the 3.0i. These are very fast and a big thrill to drive, its a true sports car! This Roadster is tight and firm all-around. Steering is aligned, centered and with no steering play ether. Engine feels very strong, smooth and powerful too! Also, engine idles perfectly. Transmission shifts smoothly without any grinds, etc, and the A/C blows cold too. Tires are in near new condition also. Top is in good condition and fully electrical; however someone recently slash the rear window at my local mall about (3) weeks ago - very unfortunate. Also, the driver side front fog light needs replacement and the rear driver side bumper red reflector is missing but all of these parts are easily found on eBay. I will leave it up to the new owner to address above points if desired. Interior shows well for its age and the exterior paint shines like new, of course! Comes with unused factory boot cover, owners manual and (1) key. Note: report shows (1) accident. Per the previous owner, this was a minor incident for one cant tell by driving or looking at it! Per basic Auto Check report, this is also a (3) owner and an accident free BMW. This Vehicle is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Nice Roadster all around for its age. I drove it around town and highway and it runs, drives very well. This car was also serviced by our local BMW expert mechanics. Engine feels smooth and strong; steering is aligned and centered; brakes are linear; and A/C blows cold. Top is in good condition and works on manual mode. Tires are also above average condition. Comes with (1) key, Factory Car Cover, and original owners manual. I personally own a Z3 3.0 so I have come to appreciate these models very much. Cosmetically its also in pretty good shape for it age, but not perfect. Interior is clean showing minor wear and paint shines OK too. It does have some very minor scuffs and blemishes here plus some minor dings particularly on the passenger door area.
